My next plans (Important, must read)Hey JackHammer here! And first I like to apologize for not posting any colored versions of my last few drawings for over a month, I was just getting used to shading and I've been through a lot of stress last month because I had no clue where my future was going after graduating high school. And I also like to apologize for the delay of my next drawing due to my illness. But enough about that, I wanna talk to you guys about what I'm planning to do after I add color to my recent drawings (the ones I already posted)
1. Miraculous Ladybug fanart
Now some of you may know that I became addicted to the recent cartoon series, Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir after watching the whole first season recently because I wanted to know what the buzz was about and I even talked about it on previous journals I actually found myself liking this show because despite the similarites to o
Tall Girls With Short HairSuperstitious girl,
don't fall in love with him.
He has half a heart
and half a mind.
don't fall in love on a whim.
Too tall, too skinny,
you can take your time.
I read a book about the perfect girl,
but the pages were old and torn.
He wanted tall girls with short hair
because the perfect girls aren't the ones who are born.
I read that the cutest girls are the ones
who think they're ugly,
and how the superstitious ones
are the best to kiss.
I read a book about the perfect guy,
and it turns out they're the ones
all the girls walk by.
High school giantess RP(This RP is Always Open, I will never close an RP)
(This is my first non vggts RP and it's a common one, depending how I like this, I may do more.)
It was October 7th, a Friday and the last day of school before Fall Break, the first real break of the year. I/you was/were doing well in school but at one point of the day in one of my classes, I was knocked out by something... When I awoke, I was being held by one of my classmates/teachers
shrunk! I was suspicious but later found out that they didn't shrunk me.
Pick the giantess and who will play it(either you or me)
1. Shelby: She was in my mathematics class, aside from being a good person and really good at math I/you don't really know much about her.
2. Lara: She is in the choir with me, and I/you talked to her some, I/you always thought she had a beautiful voice
3. Carolina: She was in my Biology class and was nice, I've/you've talked to her a lot in the past but not really much anymore, though we/you both are still friends at heart.
Home again, home againYep, I'm finally back home after our cross-country road trip.
Yesterday, my dad and I spent the night in Tulsa, Oklahoma. As we were driving in to town, I suggested that we stay in the Hard Rock Hotel. Dad said yes. After 45 minutes of trying to find the darned thing, we finally pulled in to the parking lot. Dad then decided that the Hard Rock would be much too expensive for middle-class folk like us XD.
We drove across the street, to another seemingly-cheaper hotel. It ended up being the nicest hotel I've ever stayed in, and dad probably only saved 10 dollars.
Anyway, we brought our stuff us to our room blablabla
Hmmmm...we can probably skip the next part...
Yeah, so we ended up across the street, at the Hard Rock Hotel, and proceeded to marvel over such things as....
Jimi Hendrix's paisley shirts!!!!!
Elvis's gun and karate book!!!
A Metalica signed guitar!!!!
A Pink Floyd signed guitar!!!!!
A Led Zeppelin signed guitar!!!!!

My Take On Cuddling I feel that cuddling is the best thing in the world. It can cheer up just about anyone. Some people say that a kiss is the sign of love, I say that a cuddle is. If you see your spouse, boyfriend, or girlfriend sad or upset cuddle with them. In that one brief moment all of their troubles and your troubles can be forgotten. So in closing remember not everything can be solved by cuddling but it doesn't hurt to try.
How I Learned To Stop Ranting and Love the Book
I. Hate. Frances Ford Coppola's "Dracula".
I always have. I saw it when I was in high school, mostly out of curiosity about ALLEGEDLY being the most true to the book.
Maybe in the basic story structure, but not everything else about it. It's such a huge stylistic and tonal shift from the source material that you might as well rename "The Lion King" as "Hamlet". Or "Brazil" as "George Orwell's 1984".
Oftentimes I feel like I'm the only one in the room who dislikes this movie immensely. I don't know if that's really true as I've yet to meet someone who goes on about how wonderful a movie it is. I tend to hang out with a lot of people who, like me, are film snobs, book snobs, and even a bit sensitive in nature. Hence we can usually agree that this film is annoying as hell.
But, like with the Wachowskis' adaptation of "V for Vendetta", most of my arguments against it usually aren't particularly strong because counterarguments would come back to me being "some bitchy fangirl who can't stand
Babe Review**In loving memory of Christine Cavanaugh**
I think "Babe" is an underrated classic.
Sure, everybody and their grandma still quotes the line, "That'll do, pig," but I don't often see people talk about the movie as a whole.
It very well may be the most enlightened movie aimed at a family audience.
The whole theme of the film is about breaking through prejudices and social class, and it's put in the metaphor of animals on the farm.
This was certainly not the first time the farm has been used as a metaphor for social classes. George Orwell used it to illustrate the rise and hypocrisy of Communist Russia in "Animal Farm". But while Orwell's book had a pessimistic outlook, "Babe" is a lot more hopeful and no doubt inspiring.
Now, I'm going to talk a lot about my own experience with this movie.
I was actually living in Qatar when this film came out. The reason I knew about it was there was a trailer for it on the VHS for "Land Before Time III". (I actually remember watching this trail
Great news! My art is now a T-shirt!My Persona 5/Lupin III crossover pic was spotted by someone at LevelUp Studios and, with my permission, was made into a T-shirt now available.
See the link below.
Honestly, I'm just really happy that one of my designs is now a T-shirt. One of my goals as an artist has been reached, and with a bit of fan art that I did for fun and put a lot of love into.
Also, if anybody tries to tell you that fan art won't get you anywhere, those people are dinosaurs who are full of crap.
Happy weekend, everybody!
